Eve Edelheit is an award winning independent freelance photographer based in Tampa, Florida.
Eve graduated with a degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, with a minor in political science in May 2011. The previous spring, Eve also attended the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark.
She was a staff photographer at the Tampa Bay Times for nearly seven years. She now freelances for clients like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, ESPN, The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Intercept.
She has photographed two cookbooks, Food + Art and Bella’s in addition to working with chefs across Florida and covering events hosted by the James Beard Foundation.
Eve serves on the board of directors of the National Press Photographers Association.
Her work has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, Florida Society of News Editors, The Green Eyeshade Awards and others.
Eve was nominated for PDN’s 30: New and Emerging Photographers to Watch in 2018 and 2019. She attended Eddie Adams Workshop XXIV and has continued to volunteer with the workshop for several years.
Eve has been a member of American Reportage since 2019.
