A patron leaves the holiday decorated Nero’s Lounge and Restaurant in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Originally called Brighton, Beaver Falls is located 31 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. It was chartered as a borough in 1868. Like most rust belt cities, Beaver Falls suffered a fair amount of economic distress due to the decline in the steel-making capacity in the region.
